Analog DAC Quadrate USB Input Module
Standard USB inputs on DACs are common. What isn’t common is what we do with ours. The entire USB module has a high level of isolation between the USB hardware and the DAC. The USB interface is limited to 384kHz and 4xDSD. Our MQA version also supports full MQA decoding.
Connect your computer, dedicated music server, or modern network streamer directly to your MSB Analog DAC with our genuine Quadrate USB Input Module. While The Analog DAC has been officially retired from our current lineup, we still have remaining factory inventory so you can equip your legacy DAC with top-tier, high-resolution computer audio capabilities.
Designed specifically for the modular architecture of The Analog DAC, the Quadrate USB module handles the massive data rates required for today's highest-resolution digital audio files, all while keeping harsh computer noise strictly isolated from your analog output.
Key Features:
-
Genuine MSB OEM Part: Manufactured by MSB Technology for guaranteed compatibility and uncompromised digital audio performance.
-
"Quadrate" High-Resolution Support: Fully equipped to handle massive data rates, supporting bit-perfect PCM playback up to 384 kHz and native DSD up to Quad-rate (DSD256/11.2 MHz).
-
Galvanic Isolation: Computers and servers introduce significant electrical noise. This module features robust isolation techniques to block EMI/RFI and ground loops from entering the DAC chassis, ensuring an exceptionally black background and pristine sonic clarity.
-
Seamless Integration: True plug-and-play design. The module slides perfectly into the isolated, modular input bays on the rear of The Analog DAC without the need for software configuration on the DAC itself.
Important Note: This module is strictly compatible with the discontinued MSB Analog DAC. Depending on your computer's operating system (particularly older Windows versions), standard MSB USB drivers may be required for optimal playback. As this is legacy factory stock, inventory is strictly limited and available only while supplies last.
Installation: Ensure your Analog DAC is powered off and completely unplugged before removing the blanking plate or swapping modules. Carefully align the Quadrate USB module with the internal guide rails in an open bay, firmly press it into the chassis until it is fully seated. Connect to your digital source using a high-quality USB Type-B cable.
